We are pleased to announce that the 3rd International Postgraduate Innovation Forum on Molecule Precision Synthesis and Carbon-circular Chemistry (IFMC2024) will be held in the Dushu Lake Campus, Soochow University, Suzhou, China, on 29thNovto 1stDec2024. This year’s forum will take place in a hybrid format, both online and in-person.

This year is the 110th anniversary of the founding of the Departments of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Soochow University. Now known as the College of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, the college fully implements the spirits and instructions of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the third plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee, and thoroughly implements General Secretary Xi Jinping’s viewpoints and conclusions on education and talent development. The International Postgraduate Innovation Forum on Molecule Precision Synthesis and Carbon-circularChemistryaims to improve the quality of cultivating top talents with solid innovative capability, improve the quality of postgraduate education, and foster the international perspectives of postgraduate students, by providing a platform for postgraduates worldwide to communicate,networking, exchange ideas, and establish interdisciplinary collaborations and cooperations.  

Following the successful convening of the first and second forums, the central theme of IFMC2024 focuses on “Molecule Precision Synthesis and Carbon-circular Chemistry” to share and discuss recent progress and challenges in the areas of precise synthesis of molecules, energy materials and chemistry, environmental and chemical engineering, and other relevant fields.

Presentations in IFMC2024 are delivered in the form of plenary talks, invited keynotes, oral presentations, posters, etc. The forum offers a large number of oral presentations and posters to domestic and international postgraduates, and excellent presentations will be selected for the “Best Oral Presentation Award” and “Best Poster Award”.

Distinguished professors in relevant fields from across China and abroad are invited to share and review the latest developments and progress in the areas of interest and provide advice to postgraduate students through keynote addresses. We warmly welcome doctoral and master candidates from universities and scientific research institutes all over the world to join the forum.
